Acupuncture

What is Acupuncture?Acupuncture is the insertion of hair thin needles through the skin at specific sites to regulate the body’s energies. Only sterile needles are used in our clinic, and they are thrown away after each session.

Is Acupuncture safe?Acupuncture has been widely used throughout history and has been shown to be a safe and effective therapy.

How does Acupuncture work? Western science has proved some of the effects of acupuncture by showing the correlations of the insertion of acupuncture needles at specific points with the release of hormones, neurotransmitters, pain-relieving molecules and other brain activities that are important for the body’s own healing process.

What can I expect after an acupuncture treatment? You might feel energized or more relaxed. Some people will feel immediately some improvement of their condition; some might feel a little bit more discomfort that will subside usually after one day or two and then show some improvement.
